Yeah I have the same flash drive. I never have used that U3 files thing. I just save the files right to the main area when you click on the drive from "my computer". For some reason Dell computers always give me trouble they seem to read it one second and not the next I have not figured this out. I suggest when you save just file save, click on my computer, then drive "X"(whatever drive it is on) and then save. Ignore the software that came with it I think that is if you want to run programs off of it or something.

When you plug it in, it shows up in my computer as a removable drive. When saving a document save as and on left side there is a drive letter e: which is you flash drive and that where you save it.

with the flash drive plugged in, simply go to the document you want to save, right click on it, select send to. the flash drive will be there as a place you can send to. just click on the flash drive and the document will be copied over to the flash drive. to retrieve it, go to my computer and open the flash drive and repeat the process. this time select my documents as the place to send it to, and it will be copied there.

properly did you drop it in any respect or did you get it moist? additionally, have you ever saved it everywhere particularly humid/warm/chilly? And, optimistically this isnt the case, yet did you load a document onto it with a plague in it someplace? Any of those must be the reason to why it stopped working. you ought to be waiting to call SanDisk and tell them the issue and that they are going to repair/replace it regardless of if it quite is decrease than guarantee. those are expesinve so so you might pursue all ideas earlier purchase yet another.
