From the official Twins Site:
"Foul poles are in fair territory. Ball hitting roof or speakers in fair territory: if caught by fielder, batter is out and fielders advance at their own risk.
Ball hitting roof or speakers in fair territory shall be judged fair or foul in relation to where it hits the ground or is touched by a fielder.

Any ball that hits the speaker or roof in foul territory is a foul ball; if, however, the ball is caught by fielder, the batter is out and base runners advance at their own risk.

A ball that hits speaker in foul territory and ricochets back into fair territory is still a foul ball; if the ball is caught by fielder, the batter is out and base runners advance at their own risk. "

Sorry Minnesotians, you're super wrong.

Major League Baseball has specific ground rules for the Metrodome. Any ball which strikes the Dome roof remains in play; if it lands in foul territory it becomes a foul ball, if it lands in fair territory it becomes a fair ball. Any ball which becomes caught in the roof over fair ground is a ground rule double. More common is for a ball to strike an overhead speaker, which are even closer to the playing surface; such balls are also alive and in-play.

Being from Minnesota and a Twins fan, I will say that it is not in play. Hitting the roof or speakers is considered a foul ball. This ground rule changed a couple years ago as the both the ceiling and the speakers were considered in play before.

Actually, if the ball hits the roof in fair territory, the ball is in play. Dave Kingman hit a ball in the roof's drainage hole and it was called a ground-rule double.
