Don't pick me, yet...for I have not finished with all of my reproduction. I have cells to fill and genes to sew and thrust my petals out and over flowing and then my blossoms will peek out and come to life. Come back tomorrow and look again and see if I tell you the truth. But, please, don't pick me then, either for the bees need my nectar to spread around God's given spaces. Just let me stay here, mature, ripen until old age has take my sparkle and blossoms away.....then, come back next spring and we shall do this all over again.....Thanks!
