Truth and common sense went by by a long time ago,...as soon as mankind arrived on the scene.

Truth and common sense are now and have always been in abundance in the world. The problem is most people don't know what it looks like and how to respond to it. The real endangered species in my mind would be patience and calmness. If you don't see Truth and common sense around you, maybe you're looking in the wrong places. Don't look to others for it. It's not in the white house. It's not in a book or a person you may meet somewhere in your travels in this life. It's not in a Point of view. It's in you. Always has been. Don't look for it anywhere else. It's In you.
Enjoy.

No, just the opposite. I think truth and common sense are infinitely easier to find than ever before. We have more choices to obtain information, more access to opposing opinion, and more freedom and access to express it.
I can blog more opinions in 15 minutes than I could in an entire day through standard media. I can read 20 sources of information with the strike of a key.
It is exciting to live in a society with instant root-level access to such pure information, communication, and dissertation. And to find sources of truth and common sense that could never have been found just a decade ago.

Truth and common sense have, of a certainty, been severely
injured in recent years. I believe, however, that they will
recover soon.

yes, especially with Bush as our president.
Our kids (our future) are also getting lazier, dumber, more shallow and more ignorant...they seem to be flushing truth and common sense down the toilet
