Ostpreussen (East Prussia) is found in Poland, more like a section of what is now Poland. the B you wrote, is the German SS sound.. make sence?

That letter you took for "b" is actually "eszet" (double "s",it really looks like a big funny letter "b"):

Are you sure its not Ostpreussen which was located in East Prussia.
