I just had the surgery myself on May 3rd. I hope you've done alot of consideration of this, as you're very young. It could affect your ability to breastfeed (if desired) when you have children. As far as size, my surgeon did not let me choose. She removed the amount of tissue that she felt was appropriate and suitable for my body. The pain was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be either. I took the narcotic pain medication I was given (Percocet) around the clock for the first few days, then I was ok with just some ibuprofen during the day and the Percocet at night. Sleeping is uncomfortable because you have to sleep on your back only. I also had liposuction under my arms, and that was truly the most painful part. It was/is more sore than the actual incision itself. You will be up and about in just a few days. Good Luck!

I had the surgery done when I was 39 ( 2 years ago and much older than you) and wished I had it much much sooner. My Dr would not let me go lower than a C cup given my frame and height. He was absolutely right not to let me go to an A. Ask for his/her advice!!

I went shopping the day after surgery and was tired after a couple hours, very minimal pain (I don't like pain killers but did use them the first 3 days) You will be so pleased!!!

You haven't told us what size you are.

I would try to go down to a C cup.

You should talk to your PS about this, he could help assist you.

I had absolutely NO pain after surgery, only discomfort.

Congrats and good luck!
