the lab top i have is a pc windows 98. its running but has a real time clock error. i want to have the microsoft office 2003 but everytime i down load it, it says it was denied what can i? and what can i do about the real time clock error i would really like to fix it up so i can continue writing my books.

Sound like the CMOS battery is dead, that need replacing, but as its a laptop, not so simple, the battery may be a few bucks, but getting it done could cost you 10 times that.

you need to change the bios battery, this will soulve your time problems...
