Technology will continue to have a huge impact in our lives, as not only robotics will replace labor-intensive jobs, computers will replace laborious computation jobs. Transportation technology will allow us to move faster, communications technology will connect us across vast distances. Like bank tellers that lost their jobs to ATMs, we'll all have to find new things to do to impress each other, like playing poker, drawing comic strips, writing computer games, telling jokes, or answering Yahoo!Questions.

Technology is constantly changing. There is no way to keep up with it now. I myself, however, believe that there will be no such thing as school in the future. A child can stay at home and learn over the computer. Adults do it now with college courses, so why can't they do it for all educational purposes. As for robots, no I don't think they should be created to take away someone's job. Why create a robot, when there is someone out there who could do it and probably needs the job anyway?

In reference to robots, I don't think that they should be created to take on simple tasks because, the men and women that once did those jobs will be left jobless. I do think that robots should be made to serve as a maids or butlers though.

Also, I don't think that flying cars will ever be made, at least not in my lifetime. If flying cars ever are created they will be so expensive when they first come out that ordinary people couldn't even afford it anyway. Personally, I wouldn't want to drive in a flying car anyway.

for simple task jobs would be costly. robots should be designed for the more dangerous types of jobs.
