where can pickling vinegar be purchased in IL or MO?

Pickling vinegar is NOT cider vinegar. Any white vinegar can be used for pickling. You can buy it at any grocery store.

Look for any type of white vinegar. All stores sell it.

You need white distilled vinegar. Do you have Save-A-Lots? Its $1.29/gal.
