pj_mark115 has a great idea to go to work for a Wedding Planner. In addition to this, consider getting Entrepreneur's start up guide for Wedding Consultants. http://www.smallbizbooks.com/

Entrepreneur's Start Up Guides are usually very comprehensive and can provide insight into the business that you may not consider.

Go work for an established wedding planning firm for three to five years. Then you'll know what to do to start your own wedding planning firm.
