I don't smoke a lot, so I keep my cigs in the frig to keep them from getting stale. My uncle says that doing this causes the cigarettes t o absorb odors, like baking soda, so I shouldn't do that. Is that true?

My advice is not to store them. You can prevent the need for storage by quiting. If you are unable to quit, then I adive you store them in the freezer.

You are right. It will keep them fresher. What you need to do is put them in a ziplock bag, the smallest one that will fit the pack. That way they won't absorb the refrigerator odors. You wouldn't want to light up and taste onion would you?

I store mine in the fridge and haven"t had any problems with this. Try putting them in a plastic bag to eliminate any chance of this happening.

If the package has been opened, don't store in refrigerator, but if they are sealed, it may work to keep them fresh longer.
