The walk on the moon (m)

>> what's the biggest lie in the history of humanity?         The biggest lie in the history of humanity is the one which was told in the very beginning, by the father of lies, and mankind believed this lie so profoundly that we are still telling it to each other today -- with the false doctrine of the immortal soul and the eternal spirit of Man. Gen. 3:4 "... Ye shall not surely die." >> ...and why you think so?         I think so because believing this one lie is the reason this human race was cast down into 6,000 years of misery, suffering, degradation, and death. God bless. EDIT: Lone Ranger: >> The truth is that the resurrection was near the end of the >> weekly 7th day Sabbath (our Saturday) exactly 72 hours >> after He was placed in the tomb. Anyone who tells you >> anything else is calling Christ a liar. If it was NOT 72 hours, >> then He is NOT your Savior. The only sign that He gave >> that proves His identity is Matthew 12:40. Three days and >> three nights cannot possibly fit into Friday evening to >> before sunrise Sunday. You cannot even count, if you >> believe in a Friday crucifixion...         I'm sorry, but you err in your understanding of God's Word. You cannot build a doctrine upon ONE verse. Jesus never said He would be in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights. That phrase, of which you speak, is only used ONE time (figuratively being "in the heart of the earth"; Mat. 12:40): compared to the phrase "the third day" -- which is used at least 18 times in reference to His literal Resurrection (including in Old Testament types contained within the ceremonial service and the giving of the manna on Friday, but not Sabbath, and it lasts until the third day). These are just 13 New Testament references: Mat. 16:21; 17:23; 20:19; 27:64; Mark 9:31; 10:34; Luke 9:22; 18:33; 24:7; 24:21; 24:46; Acts 10:40; 1Cor. 15:4.         Also: ● The Bible explicitly states He was Crucified on the "preparation day" (Mat. 27:62; Mar. 15:42; Luke 23:54; John 19:31) which the Jews *never* use this phrase for *any* day except Friday -- the day before the weekly Sabbath (Saturday). ● Even if you don't accept that "preparation day" only applies to Friday, the Bible also states that the next day was a "high sabbath" (John 19:31). This phrase refers to the fact that the weekly sabbath coincided with an annual sabbath that year. From Leviticus 23, we know that the day after Passover is just such an annual sabbath (the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread). If, as you say, He had been crucified on Wednesday, then Thursday would have been the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and neither Thursday nor Saturday would have been a "high sabbath." God bless.

Grog of the Cave Bear Clan was dubbed "the biggest liar" for his creation of the concept of gods, goddesses, heaven and hell in the Year 35,563 BC by the elders of the Tribe. The impact of his biggest lie in history is still being felt today.
