Both trades are pretty terrible...you don't stand to gain much in the 1st trade offer, in that you lose Ks & ERA and stay steady pretty much everywhere else. On offense, you get Berkman (who's sick), but at a relative cost to your rotation in that Glavine & Wang EAT innings w/out producing a ton of anything for you. The 2nd isn't bad player-wise (Hall is easily better than anything those three will do for you), but Hall will kill your average, and doubtfully hits the power #s he shot to last year. Although, getting two open roster spots might be interesting, as there are more than likely some nasty young players out on waivers (one would think that you'd already have gobbled them up by now, though).
Here's the advice: if young studs like Hunter Pence, Billy Butler, etc are on your waiver wire, then the 2nd one is worthwhile, as now you've got room to pick them up. Otherwise, skip out on both.

tthe second one is way better. lets observe:
1st one: you give up maine for glavine. maine is WAY better. you give up zambrano for wang. although zambrano had a bad start, he is still carlos zambrano. expect a sub 4 ERA and 200+ strikeouts with an offense that will bring plenty of run support. then you give teahen for berkman. obviously berkman is better, but it doesnt outweigh the other two. maine and zambrano are both sick.

in the second one, i might take that because rowand sucks, hill had a hot start but sucks, and alou's yahoo picture makes him look like he's gonna die tomorrow and bill hall is a young big bat.

2nd trade is not very smart cause hall hit a low BA and dosent get that many runs like hill

1st trade is simpily baset on do u think lance berkman will come back and be the great 1B he was last seosen? If u think so take the trade, wang will get his wins and low ERA, and Glavine will be hungry all seosen to get 300 carrer wins

The one with Bill Hall is better because you don't have to give up Zambrano.

dont do ANY of those trades. generally, only make trades that YOU initiate and counter offer incoming trades.
