Yes, on the 27th of August 2001 I was bitten by a Jack Russell at work (I was a vet tech). It required 27 stitches on my face. I was very lucky that he didn't get my eye, it was right below my eye and down my nose and he actually took part of my lip. I had plastic surgery on the 22nd of February, actually Lazar to smooth over the scars and the golden lining was I quit smoking that day after 38 years of smoking!! Yeay me. It was 5 yrs this past Feb.

Most times the damage is done by the person yanking away from the dog once the dog grabs on. Most times the dog is playing and forget you are not another dog.
But there are some bad tempered or trained to kill dogs that grab on and yank themselves to inflict pain.

Yes, but the dog wasn't trying to be mean it was hurt. Plus I used to train dogs, so yes I have been bit a couple of times.

A long time ago I was bitten by a German Shepherd, but it didn't break the skin through my jeans. Scared me to pieces, though!!!

Yes, many times. By different dogs, usually injured, confused, or just scared. Some times they were in protection mode, None that I thought of as mean.

My girlfriends dog bit my leg once. I was upset but what could I do? It left a little mark no biggie. I mean at the time. Nothing is there now. Was a Beagle.

yes, my mom claims i couldn't remember but it was a vicious small dog. but my sister got bit by a BIG dog, and he took a good medium size chunk out of her leg. its a pretty cool indentation now. its like all perfect untill you look at the middle of her leg then it looks like a mini crator hit there. i remember my dad took a baseball bat and went looking for that dog, just because it was so vicious. but then again my dad also took a baseball bat and went looking for these teens that threw a rock at my eye. he never found the dog but he found the kids and he called the cops. he just scared them with the bat...

I was attacked by a German Shepherd and bitten repeatedly and the lady who owned it got mad at me because I could have sued her.

Yes my great aunt had this evil fox terrier that would run across the room to bite anyone that walked in. Even when it was old and could barely walk or see it would still try to bite people.
