Who do you think was better?
They have a bunch of similaritys they both lost their lead singers(bon scott and ronnie van zant) and got the slots filled(brian johnson and johnny van zant)
their bot rock they both had a lot of awesome hits... which do u think was better and please give an explantation
honestly i'm for lynyrd skynyrd they were more honorable and sung a little better ronnies voice was amazing he was also totally cool so was his brother johnny
even though ac/dc was awesome to...

I'll always be biased toward AC/DC but you have to respect Lynyrd Skynyrd.

To be honest... i go by songs rather than singers.
both had some good songs but i would have to say that Lynyrd Skynrd had a couple of classics with sweet home Alabama and free bird so i would say Lynyrd Skynrd

Obviously, both amazing bands but I'm gonna have to go with AC/DC on this one. The whole energy of the band, the hits, the bare "skin and bones" rock and roll... And the legendary Angus Young. One of the best performers and guitarists of rock music history, I think. T.N.T is one of my favorite songs, too!

I will have to say AC/DC because they have so many hits that really rock. "Back in Black", "Shoot to Thrill", "Dirty Deeds done Dirt Cheap", "Highway to Hell", need I go on? I mean Brian Johnson has a voice that would just turn any event into a party.

To give you a thorough answer, i'd have to actually sit right in front of you and put an apple and an orange right on a table and explain why the two can not be compared, ....but you'd probably argue "well, they're both round shaped!".

angus makes this an easy decision, ac/dc is more talented and makes better music. lynyrd skynyrd is straight southern rock, ac/dc isn't really. they are really different in my opinion.

I believe that AC/DC was way better than Lynyrd skynyrd. LS weren't complety rockers. AC/DC were, plus no one can sound like Angus Young.

Well, personally, I think Skynyrd is much better. I'm an all american dude, forget wherever AC/DC is from. They suck anyways, stupid guitar riffs, dumb lyrics, and boring themes in general. Skynyrd still has people doing covers, like Deftones cover of "Simple Man." Like I said, I'm all about american music, though I do listen to a lot of European and Asian stuff that my friends send me, cuz we all listen to a lot of grind/death.
