My Daughters saw it on TV and I thought it was interesting how it could float and stuff like that. Does it really do that???

The ingredients you listed sounds like the same stuff I made with my daughters for playdoe! minus the sand of course.Interesting...I might have to make me up a batch and see..

I heard, but don't quote me, it's made of corn starch, flour and cream of tartar, with finely ground sand thrown in. Haven't seen any so I haven't read the ingredients.

Yes, it really does float. My daughter has some and she really likes it. However, it is a little hard to get the sand out of the molds that come in the kit. (We had to give each side a really hard tap before it would come out in one piece) Also, my son used this in a diorama that he had to make of the first walk on the moon and it was a HUGE hit. Kids couldn't stop playing with it.

I wish I knew what it was made out of, but it doesn't say it anywhere on the package and I couldn't find any information online. I do know that it is non toxic and safe for ages 3 and up.

You can get this for a really good price at Target. They do have a kit that you can order online that includes an inflatable sand box.

I hope this helps!
