My boyfriend and I have been dating for over four and a half years. We are really the typical high school sweethearts. We have soo much fun together. We've dated throughout high school and this year is our senior year. We both love each other, but we've been getting into arguments lately, over little things too. We're not the agressive type. We're usually quiet when we're angry or upset. Anyway, we decided to take a break yesterday morning. He said he wants to find how to be a good boyfriend for me. But he hasn't made any effort to call me. I mean, shouldnt that make him want to prove to me that he's the right one? What should I do?

I mean, I've got to know him in so many ways. He knows my deepest secrets, everything. It's hard to believe we might not be together in the end. What should I do?

You can ask him same thing. If it will be sad that you two might not be together in the end then work on your relationship to make it better in terms of expression. Its quite necessary to be communicative when you two are angry or upset with each other.

I hope you two will understand that it is equally important to tell each other what you didn't like and are angry or upset about it. Don't waste time in apologizing if necessary and making your point of view clear before each other.

Try this, me four years and long distance and then he decided to go with his parents decision over our because they're traditional and i ddin't suite their family...so he broke up with me!!! Darling...men are like rubberbands, they need to go into their cave every now and then and think...let them. Give him space to breathe and sort out his life, makes no sense running after him and he's still confused. Rubbers do bounce back...and he will...trust me...it take months, but he will...they never know when they have a good thing.

PS it also doesn't mean you have to sit around and wait...fight for what you want...but remember a saw cuts both ways

You are way to young to be thinking about the end. You will date lots more people before you can decide who is the right one. Give yourself time to be on your own and live your life before joining with someone else for the rest of your life!

Call and talk to him. Go out to diner and tell each other what you want from each other. Talking is how to get through these things. I hate it when you do this but I really love for you to....... TALK
