I have NEVER received the best answer ever? Do they not appreciate my efforts which sound like a 5 year old German kid got on Mommy and Daddy's computer?

It must be a cultural thing...something about humor gets lost in the translation. I've found the same thing to be true of the English... many who think we Americans are all weird.

It is my humble opinion, after I lived 15 years there, that they are not very "easy to impress" after 2 World Wars. Don't worry, we are still here.

It's proboably an alles in ordinug thing. Also, they really don't like it when you interrupt them singing Die Wacht Am Rhine in Casablanca cafes either.
