That sounds about typical of fish being treated for ich to me. Many ich medications lower the oxygen content of the water so you might add an air stone or lower the water level in the tank so that the filter will splash a bit more.

Whatever you do, DO NOT stop the treatment in less than 10 days! No matter what the package says, you will need to treat this long to be sure the ich is cleared from the tank.

Best of luck with them

i would be more concernd with the water conditions that caused the ich outbreak in the first place .. continue the medications for atleast 2 weeks, and change 10% of the wtaer every other day along with vacumming the bottom of the tank very well to suck up cysts from the ich. to totally get rid of the ich outbreak. you can also raise the temp utture of the tank for 1 week to about 85 degress to make sure the ich is totally cycled out of the tank ..

It's possible they may be a little weak from being infected, or the other possibility is the one you might want to worry about more, but most treatments are antibiotics, and it's very possible it's killed off some or all of your nitrifying bacteria. Check the water levels on your ammonia and nitrites.

If it looks like they are gulping for oxygen, then they probably are. Add an airstone to your tank to increase the oxygen level. If they aren't, then they might be searching for food. DO NOT feed them. Only feed them according to your regular feeding schedule.
