This is an unclear question...
If you are using the computer that is connected to the router, then you simply have to login to your routers ip and view the wireless security information, but you cannot simply view the wep key anywhere else.
If you're trying to retrieve a WEP from a network to which you have no access, then the only way to do it would be to hack into it, the method most commonly used is packet sniffing. Elaborate your question to get a more elaborate answer :)

If You have a 2Wire Router, It Will Be the series of numbers within the Brackets. [ for example ] Usually for other router types the Wep Code is located on the back cover of the instruction booklet.

Usually the WEP code is on your Router I think.

If the above doesnt fix it. circulate away it plugged in carry down the reset button for one million finished minute, this could set the router back to Defaults without password, or the unique one it got here with

You don't. It is the encryption key you set when you installed your router.
