Earthworms are a good option. If you have just placed this bass in a tank, don't expect him to eat for a few days. It will take him that long to settle in.

Whole kernel corn, peas, feeder fish, earthworms, brine shrimp, chopped leaches, bloodworms, krill, seedless sunflower seeds, little frogs, grubs, crayfish, mealworms, bugs, hamburger chunks, diced hotdog chunks, marshmallows, cereal, fish food - go to a bait shop! Maybe try some bright colored guppies or rosy reds...??
I saw a video where a bass ate a mouse! My girlfriend used to catch bass with gummy worms and cigarette butts. They should eat almost anything they can get in their mouths... If he's not eating after you try other stuff he is either stressed or sick. Good luck!

You could try some insects. Bass are top feeders so insects would be a natural food for them. Any form of water bug, spider, or especially if you can catch some flies. If they are still alive it would be better.

Any kind of feeder fish. They eat any fish smaller then them or just go with bait they you get at a bait shop. Worms, grubs, all of these things. They go crazy for them in the wild.

Any type of insect except for poisonous ones. Earthworms, just like magicman said, work as well.
