We are in the process of establishing a business and plan on donating a portion of our profits to an orphanage in the Philippines. However we want to 100% certain that we are donating to a 'legimate' orphanage - one that is established and recognised by the Philippino government. Does anyone know where we could find this information?

The Department of Social Welfare has the list of legitimate orphanages in the Philippines.

Our organisation is working in Zambia, Central Africa. We are established as an incorporated association in Australia. All our research and the best information we found by looking through the Goggle site. Going to the Philippines and look around, ask questions and observe is the best. That would give you possibly the peace of mind that you do the right thing.
