I just always make sure I am clean down there. I shave and shower every day. I know the Dr doesn't really care what it looks like down there. But it makes me feel better knowing I don't have a crazy bush down there.

The only thing you need to do is not have sex without a condom in the previous 24 hours - semen can obscure the results of any testing. They don't give a s**t if you are shaved or not. The examination has nothing to do with whether they find your parts sexy or not - and if it does then they need to be reported.

Shaving would be optional -- the doctor is use to anything. Prepare your questions, stuff that you need to tell the doctor, a list of the meds you're on, date of your last period.

i did...its really ...odd at the gyno to begin with make sure you talk to your dr. to make it less stressful on yourself

no unprotected sex for 24 hours, and no douching either. Just make sure you are showered and clean.
