Brita is the way to go.

I have my own drilled artesian well on my land and and it's quite deep. I drink that every day. I also have a built in filter to take out any sulfur or iron which can be common here in New England areas. I don't have much iron in my water but some I know, do. There is a fountain in my town that has beautiful clear spring water that comes down the mountain too. That's nice also.. I think most bottled water is not great tasting and so many have proven to be fraudulent money makers. My water has been tested and it is fine. Never gone dry either.

"the normal amount of tap water a person consumes over a lifetime which has trace amounts of impurities such as fecal matter in it - will add up to enough fecal matter to fill a 5 gallon bucket at the end of you average life span" now. how gross is that? don't know if that is true for Wales, but now I am even more convinced that bottled water is the way to go.

After reading that I will not drink tap water. I would say it is about as gross as it gets. I am not sure I am happy with bottled water, either. You need water to survive :(

My tap water here in Cleveland is just fine, but when I'm visiting the family in FL I'll only drink bottled water.

I heard that over time you can develop little rocks in your stomach if you drink too much tap water so I always stay away from tap water.

I have a well, it's better than city water. However, there's an Artesian well about 20 minutes from here and I travel there and fill up 3 - 4, 5 gallon bottles of water!

Yeah. I got sick from the tap water a few times, and I don't to it anymore.

No, I drink it all the time. Usually the only time I drink bottled water is if I am in a restaurant.

No, but I tell you what I am afraid of....

Chinchillas!

Those things are freaky man! They look like enormous fluffy rats with bulbous eyes and elephant ears.

I had a dream once that our house was overrun with those little suckers, and their leader, named Tooka Chinchilla (Fluffy Bunny Feet) was threatening to tattoo photos of Pee-Wee Herman on all of our butts.

They laid siege to my peanut butter supply, and while I was openly weeping over that, they danced around like little kangaroos to the song "Get Busy" by Sean Paul.

((SHUDDERS))

Okay....I'm better now.

What was the question again?

*grin*

Nope! Our water is perfectly safe (ok, maybe a bit too much chlorine in it).

I do feel guilty sometimes coz of the severe drought we have here in Australia. I feel like im wasting it and should buy bottled water imported from other countries.
