...oh, come on!!! Surely you have a challenge for me!!

Actually, that line is from one of my top ten favorite movies, and one of the most riotous films to come out of the '60's.

The film is director Blake Edward's 1965 production of "The Great Race", and the line came from the snidely, sneaking Professor Fate (Jack Lemmon), in disguise as Hapnick, the Crown Prince of Pottstorff (the real Prince, kidnapped by unscrupulous forces, led by Baron Von Stuppe (Ross Martin), beared an uncanny resemblance to Fate, and...well, if you offered the line as a challenge, you basically know what went on, in this part of the film).

...the 'Leslie' in your line, was of course, Tony Curtis, as the Great Leslie, who in the scene, was reported to have escaped capture, with a small monk, or friar....hence Fate's 'chicken' response!!!

...long have I pined away, thinking about the possibility of a sequel to "...Race"; from Paris, back to New York, they could hit Arabia, Africa, Antarctica, South America, Mexico, and finally, back to New York!!!
