Are you talking about "Restart" or restore? If you want to "Restore" the computer to its original state, power up the computer, open the CD drawer and insert the recovery CD that should have come with your computer when you bought it, then reboot. Then start hitting the F2 key or the Esc key repeatedly till you get into BIOS, then change the boot order. Boot from the optical drive first. Exit BIOS and reboot again. The CD should start and walk you through the restore process.

before you install Vista do some research into vista. stay with what you have got for the moment, don't rush in and install it, there are a lot of problems with vista and lots of complaints, once you install it you will not be able to get back to your old windows unless you have the original cd ..

so please safe yourself alot of pain
