in what ways earth's oceans affect you life?

The Earth's oceans have caused me to experience many tropical storms and quite a few hurricanes over the last few years. I live in Florida. My proximity to the ocean has its advantages and disadvantages!

They are the primary source for most of the precipitaion that falls here in the middle of the U.S. The oceans also supply most of the sea food we eat and recieves most of the water that flows down the Missouri, Ohio and Mississippi rivers. This last bit helps us from drowning.
