I haven't had a chance to really look thru all my movies but yeah most of them are cheap cardboard, I did notice though, that the Harry Potter movies came in really nice cases with covers too.

Warner Bros. has succumbed to the varied mass of complaints, regarding their flimsy cardboard DVD cases; about a year ago, they started issuing their new stuff, as well as slowly re-issuing their older stuff, in the standard plastic DVD cases!!!

...I suppose that it's up to the consumer, whether or not they want to fork over the extra cash, to re-purchase the films in the sturdier packaging (i.e., "Let's just suck more cash from the unweary, clueless consumers").

but I have been fnding some of my movies in the plastic case...that I had in the crappy cardboard ones.
