Because he refuses to back down to the liberal democrats
so they retaliate with talk of impeachment when there are
no grounds to do so.

Mostly because Bush stands up for what is right

I have NO PROOF of this, but I have an OPINION. When the Democrats lost the controversial election in 2000, it put many of the people that run the Democratic party, like George Soros, in a state of anger. They transferred this to the rest of the "choir" by posting lies, half-truths and innuendos on the left wing blogs that smeared the Bush administration. They did this day in and day out, over and over again. They are STILL doing it. GW went from a president that was ranked very high to one that is now very low. The anger has spread and became hate. I am ashamed to say that the American people are so gullible and would fall for these kind of things, but they are. Look at the incompetent majority that the Democrats have gained in congress. Not because of more political savvy and constructive solutions and ideas, but because of their mud throwing and hate. And TO MAKE ALL OF THIS MORE OBSCENE, George Bush does not fight back. Instead of water torture, the American people have been subjected to Democommie blog torture.

I can only speak for myself, because many of the people I know DO like him. I always get sick when I see him smiling, he giggles quite a bit. I believe that in the majority of his public appearances he tries to make humor and or maybe just laughs at himself or smirks awkwardly at something he says. In my head and maybe many others we are programmed to take things seriously when we are in a place of power that is capable of somehow decreasing hundreds of American soldiers deaths every month. It just seems he isn't a leader, he isn't a commander and chief of our army. It seems he doesn't portray wisdom or strength no matter how hard he tries to be stubborn with congress and the war, I only see him as being fearful of changing his mind instead of standing for what he believes in. I trust my perceptions in life and whether it is true or not , I really can change the way I feel, however how I feel CAN change based on how I interpret things, which is mainly based on how I was raised.

The President, along with every elected "representative" is supposed to govern according to the wishes of the people. Not with their own agenda. I've watched the so called debates of both parties and I didn't hear one time "I will do what the people want". With an approval rating of 30% +/- bush is sure not following the wishes of the people. Is it any wander he is disliked? Looking over the spectrum of candidates right now, I personally don't see any one I would want to be my president.

What he is not doing is the problem. He is not capable of winning this war he began. He is not taking care of the American people. He is not paying down any of this deficit he is responsible for. He has not worked well with poeple that do not share in his beliefs. He does not take any responsibility for any of his mistakes.

There are too many reasons. Turn on the news or read a paper. Decide for yourself if you like the guy or not.

Momenta;

It is not what he is doing; but rather what he is not doing!

At his inauguration, he swore an oath to uphold the will of the American people. This President has performed his own agenda. Since he is a lame duck (cannot run again) President, he has nothing to loose. However his low "disapproval" rating is hurting many republican Senators and Congressional representatives. They are torn because supporting their Republican President may hurt their chances for re-election in 2008.

In America we elect Presidents who will properly represent the wants, needs and the will of all Americans. This President is more bend on improving the wants and needs of Iraqi's rather than those of the Americans who voted him into office. And while doing so, he cost the loss of approximately 3400 young Americans who will no longer be permitted to experience the wonderful freedoms and liberties America represents.

I hope this helps.

i believe that the liberals frustration is with Bush's many successes not his failures. he was supposed to be incompetent by their predictions, but he has presided over the swiftest defeat of a major army in history, ended terrorism in the US, lowered taxes for every citizen and given us the strongest economy and lowest unemployment in since the end of ww2 and record breaking stock market reports are now routine. these are traditional, objective measures of a successful presidency.
the news tries to counter this history with argument. over the course of years, many succumb to this so dont be surprised if the dems win the white house.

Bush was shoved down the throats of the American people. He lost the vote in his first term. However

He was duly elected by the majority for this term. You have two political factions in this country. Issues are smoke screens to sway the vote of the People who are Innocent of how the government really works.

Most people who truly understand how the Government works take a political stance with a party. You simply choose the party that best represents your overall views and values.

I think the most discontented are the ones who voted for him based on issues because they don't actually understand politics. So they have unrealistic expectations.

I am a DEMOCRAT so he has lived up to my expectations 100%.

I won't try to sway you either way, but educate yourself on the political parties. Align with the one that basically represents your values. You can even study the presidents throughout history and see which political party harmed and helped this country the most. It comes down to your personal values.

The fence straddlers who can't choose and support a party seem to be the most discontented and I think it is because they don't understand that most candidates behavior is predictable.

I predict that the straddlers will vote Democratic in the next election and because they don't understand politics they will blame the next president on the inevitable recession/depression. (My prediction is based on history).

He is an honest moral person and that infuriates the liberal media who constantly heap ridicule on him. Too many people believe the trash the media expounds.
