1) It's long.
2) It was hot out.
3) It's really boring.
4) I didn't know anyone else graduating.
5) No one was coming to see ME graduate - no parents, relatives, or friends. And I didn't ask them to.

You sound like my mom! I did not want to sit in the heat and listen to a bunch of speeches and names being called so that I could receive a diploma. I was a little shy which also played a role. I would not have gone to my high school graduation if it had not been for my mom's insistence

2 many peps. I did not feel like sitting through the ceremony, Another reason was a transfered as a junior and did not live on campus so i did not know that many peps. I got a group of peps together and we went to a theme park.

I attended,,,because it helped with my sence of accomplishment, that and my parents wouldn't have it any other way. However, my wife did not attend hers because she graduated two years before I did and she didn't want to do it alone. So she attened all of my Senior functions that she missed out on.
