You indeed need a CD burner to burn CDs. However, many modern computers, usually from two or three years ago, have an integrated CD burner, which is the normal CD drive but with the capability not only to read, but "write" on CDs (using a special laser system). If your computer has an integrated burner, the CD drive in My Computer should include CD-RW (compact disc - rewritable). If your computer doesn't have one, you would need to buy it. External CD burners look like boxes with a CD drive, and can be connected to the computer.

Yes you do need a CD burner to burn CDs.
A CD is similar to your CD player in your computer and most times is the same peice of equipment.

The CD Burner sometimes called CD Writer allows you to put (burn) data, music etc unto a blank CD.

Yes you do need a cd burner. A cd is written and read with a laser. To burn a cd means to change the way the cd reflects a laser. Not all cd drives have this ability so you have to buy one that says either CD - R or CD - RW. I would suggest the latter because it will be easier to find and has more ability.

Yes, you need a CD burner to burn Cd's. A CD burner, in short, is a laser device that takes info from the computer and puts it on a CD.

CD Burner is just another name for a CD Writer. You do need one of these to burn CDs. If you have a CD-ROM, you only have the capability to read CD's not write. You can get them fairly cheap online or at retail stores these days.

Hi. You can also burn CDs with a DVD burner. More versatile, almost the same cost.

A CD burner looks just like a regular CD. To find out if you have one, open up My Computer.

The CD drive will either say CD ROM or CD RW (or DVD ROM/ DVD RW).

RW means rewriteable and you can burn CDs with it.
