I would not really call Gammons an analyst- he is sort of the John Clayton of baseball- he's great and very understated, plus he really knows the game, but he's not really an analyst. Berman is definitely not an analyst. He's a studio host who does the occasional play by play. He's definitely better than Jeannie Zlazkso of FOX, who only has that job because they can't find anyone else who wants it. Tim McCarver is probably the best analyst who everyone has heard, although Ron Darling doing the Mets game is better to listen to. Joe Morgan is terrible.

Best - I like Mario Impemba and Rod Allen from Fox Sports Detroit. I'm a Detroit fan so obviously.
Worst - The White Sox analysts. Can't stand em.

Best is Peter Gammons but the worst is the Tim McCarver/Joe Buck duo. They're both horrible and Joe Buck sucks at everything he announces.

The best that I've heard is Don Sutton. I'd learn something new from him about every other game I'd watch when he was doing the colour.

The worst has to be Tim McCarver. Let's say everything three or four times, and let's shout it for emphasis, just in case ships and sea and babes in arms haven't already figured it out for themselves.

BEST - PETER GAMMONS

WORST - TIM McCARVER

McCarver never shuts up and he acts like he's a know-it-all. Most of the time McCarver will analyze a play and then he's prooved wrong once the instant replay is shown. Why Fox keeps this guy is beyond me.

I like Peter Gammons. I don't like Kruk from ESPN. I love Jerry Remy from NESN. Even if you don't agree with him, you have to love his honest Boston accent. This week the Tigiz are in town.
