It will be Hillary Clinton. Obama can get votes but he can't get enough from the South because there still is a lot of racial prejudice against blacks there in states such as Alabama. Clinton has the favor of the American people. She has recognition from being the First Lady of the United States which is huge because people have heard her name. The fact that she can raise lots of money is good for Clinton as she can get enough funding and support to go all the way to the main elections in November 2008 and win. Name-brand recognition and having the money swing towards you is big in this election. You also need to flex the muscles and look at what the internet can do for your campaign. But Clinton better not wear herself out early or else we will get Al Gore. If Al Gore is elected, it will be a sad moment in American history for people with brains.

The "powers that be" from "behind the scenes" will more than likely select Hillary Clinton, which means America will see nothing more than typical political pabulum being served up for another 4-8 years.
IF the "people" can generate the kind of excitement they did in 1992 in support of Ross Perot - and IF the other candidates can keep from being intimidated and manipulated as Perot was - I think any of the following prospective candidates could serve this country well:
RON PAUL
BARACK OBAMA
MITT ROMNEY
JOHN McCAIN
One person I personally wish would run - and whom I believe could win - would be COLIN POWELL. Another 'long shot' I'd enjoy see getting into the race would be that radical madman MICHAEL MOORE. -RKO- 05/13/07

It is a no brainer...Fred Thompson will win in a land slide...he hasn't even announced and he is running away with all of the grass roots polling. Hillary is a joke; an elitist/socialist who is very much out of touch with reality. Conservatives all hope she'll run because she is loathed universally by all except Hollywood and New York liberals. Remember how she tried to ram socialized medicine down our throats. Thank God we are a Federal Republic and not a social Democracy!!!

Hillary Clinton can't win. Obama can't win. Al Gore can't win. John Kerry can't win.
The Democrats need to come up with a viable candidate or it will be a Republican.

Not sure who is on the ballot yet, but the way the Dems are headed it is almost guaranteed to be a Republican.
