I got a day out with my son and husband. My son just moved away two months ago and we came down (800 miles) to visit. He took us to an aquarium and out to eat and we had a blast. We are home at his apartment now and about to watch the Red Wings (Go Wings) and have some ice cream. Great day! My daughter is back home and she says she has a gift for me, too, but I consider her getting two 3.5's and a 4.0 in her last semester at Michigan State a great gift already!

An adorable homemade card and a beautiful letter from my 13 y/o daughter. She also gave me a neck rub. And my son called me from 800 miles away to wish me a happy day.
Why would anyone be upset about Americans celebrating a wonderful holiday for Moms? We Americans are much nicer than some Europeans like to think. I hope the UK had a nice Mother's Day, also. Does anyone know when the holiday was started?

I got an early Mother's Day gift,a new Windows Vista.I also got a silver cuff initial bracelet from James Avery,all from my 2 children.My grandson gave me a Mother's Day card that I'll treasure forever.

Last week, my husband goofed and thought it was Mother's Day so he paid for me to get a massage. Since he realized he goofed, I woke up this morning to find roses and a card.
Normally, getting 2 Mothers Days would be nice, but I've had a rough week. I lost my own mother on Wednesday. Mother's Day has pretty much sucked this year.

My 16 year old son got me a beautiful rose bush..the color is called cinnamon twist and is awsome...he also got me a necklace and a keychain. And a pair of gardening gloves that he promised would make my garden grow ten times better. I am a very lucky mom he is a good kid.

A card that looked like a ladybug along with a ladybug pin...both of which my little boy made especially for me in school.
