The Lakers ,let, go a Hall a Hall A Fame center in Shaq.They never replaced him.That is why they cant win consistently.

That is only a few years, there are a lot of teams that wish they had the success the Lakers have had. In fact there are 14 in the NBA right now that would have traded their season for the Lakers( the 14 that did not make the playoffs ).
All the Kobe haters out there can keep telling themselves and others that Kobe sucks and keep bad mouthing him but that wont change the fact that he is the best player in the NBA. It wont keep him off the 1st team all NBA, out of the starting line up in the All Star Game, wont stop the #1 selling jerseys from all of a sudden drop in sales or from the experts in the NBA from saying he is the best player in the NBA. You might have better luck by telling people that the sky is green or that all Oreo cookie diet will make you lose weight.

The Lakers haven't won because Kobe is a ball hog and doesn't pass enough to get his team mates involved in the game. Part of it is Phil Jackson's fault for not being tough on Kobe instead Phil runs all the plays through Kobe. There are a lot of good players on the Lakers and I'm very surprised they aren't doing better.

Kobe doesn't suck, it's just that his teammates are not that helpful. In that case and according to your reckoning Allen Iverson would suck as well since he couldn't get a single ring while he was with the sixers and we all know that he DOESN'T, he might be a bit rough at times but is a good player overall, same with Kobe

The reason why they won so many championships is because they had a younger Kobe and a dominate Shaq whom was unstoppable.
