I have taped my in-game at-bats and my mechanics are fine... I am JUST NOT HITTING THE BALL ON THE MEAT OF THE BAT OR WHEN I DO IT'S A GROUND BALL..... PLEASE HELP!!!

make sure you wait on the ball and keep your hands on the inside of the ball

at your age you are doing fine.
What length and ounce bat do you use.
Do you want to chock up a little? Can you wait a second longer on your hit.
YOu are making contact right now and be happy.
As you get older and bigger you will be slamming the ball.
Not everyone can be Barry Bonds.
400 at your age is termendous. Patience is important.
sure your coach will say the same.

My best to you

You may be rolling your wrist over if its a grounder everytime. Other than that most players are just plain not seeing it. In practice really focus on watching the ball ALLL the way until it hits your bat.

keep your head down and turn your top hand over when the ball hits the bat. it causes more hard line drives and prevents pop-ups.

you are hitting well and hitting on the ground isn't that bad.
you probably are just going through the motions not really trying to have fun. Or you aren't swing smooth so your getting on top of everything.

if you're hitting .400 then you shoudnt worry about it. its a great average, if you mess with your swing you might mess up your mechanics and BA. really, dont worry about it, i dont know many that would fret over a .400 BA
