Happiness has abstrct and multi-definition to all of us. But how do we define happiness to ourself and to others. Is giving-up on material (expensive or cheap) ,giving to gratification others? Happiness is elusive that cannot be grabbed always. We always search for it.

Happiness (joy or pleasure) is merely an emotional state. Like all states, these are transitory.

To pursue happiness is to be in a state of unhappiness.

its just an old school expression, and way of thinking. Disregard it, I don't hink its relevant now and certainly won't be in years to come.
Happyness meant a nice house, job, children, simple things etc...it really isn't relevant anymore. If you use your brain anyway....
