Hillary for personal reasons has just dropped out of the presidential race. Do you think this almost assures Obama the presidency in 2009? Or do you think that the Republicans will give him a run for the money in 2008? Your thoughts are appreciated.

No dropping out. Everyone deserves the opportunity to make an informed vote regardless of political affiliation and spreading such a rumor is the antithesis of democracy.

Hillary is a very crafty trial lawyer. She knows the nomination is hers and that the best publicity that requires no money is to make pitiful announcements like this. She is still in the running. She just needs time to slap Bill around and get him onboard her campaign.

I'd just love to know who's reporting this. Nothing on Reuters, Yahoo, Google, BBC or anyone credible. Or are you just so scared of a potential woman President that you felt like starting internet rumors?
Edit: Wow-you've got some gall posting fake news like that. There isn't a THING on MSNBC or Reuters about this. Keep it up, Comrade.

Hilary is not dropping out, in fact her numbers are better than anyone at this point. Obama is losing ground, Guiliani being pro-choice has the Rebublicans all messed up since hes leading in the republican polls. Clearly at this point it is still anyones race, the winner will most likely be the one that keeps his or her name the cleanest until the election

If there is any truth to this....no way would she drop out due to Bill's ill heath. I doubt that they are "really" together.

One could only wish she would drop out!!! That would make me extremely happy.
I think Obama needs to watch what he says a bit more closely.
I've not overly excited about any of the the Republicans, but would prefer to see them in office.

If only it were true...She won't get my vote and it has nothing to do with her being a woman.. She would not be good for this Country or its people...
