You will need a router and cards that work with either a PC or a notebook. Just follow the directions that come with the router and that will help you set it up with your DSL modem. Depending on wether or not you have a notebook or a PC you will have to buy a card for each specific computer. Again, follow the directions that come with the adapter. Try to stick with G because it has the best range and will not interfer with cordless phones and microwaves. Check out the Sunday ads for Best Buy and those kinds of places for good deals.

3 options:
1. Go to your retailer and ask for a switch (hub is old). In this case you have to make sure you can connect via Ethernet from the modem to one of the switch port.
2. Ask for a router (better since it will include some security, access right management, etc.)
3. if you have a "old" PC with several Ethernet port then you can use it as a router to share your Internet connection. you can also use one of the 2 PCs to do it (you need at least 2 Ethernet cards on the PC used to share the connection)

If you already have your network setup with a dsl modem, you just need to plug a DSL router to "distribute" the internet connection.

there are wireless routers that also have wired ports if you want to connect via cable.

A router may be between 60 to 80 USD

You need a router, any basic wired router will do, for dsl a router/modem, for cable a plain router. Just follow the setup instructions in the manual.

Simple, you need a DSL Modem Router, one unit will do it all for you.

make life easy for your self, go get a switcher , not a router. its a little old school , but works great no , setting ip addresses or such , just unbox, cable it up , and your off , and running ..
