who's staying up late to avoid the inevitable and depressing reality of going to work tomorrow?

I'm not, I'm a student, but my housemate is. She's got a rubbish boring job so sits up as late as she can to avoid going. I used to do exactly the same thing before I went to university, it totally sucks. It's horribly depressing sitting there looking at the clock, knowing you should go to bed and being really tired but knowing the sooner you go to sleep the sooner you'll have to wake up and go to work. You have my sympathy friend.

I have been disabled for over 25 years and yearn for the ability to get up and go to a tedious job instead of staying home, hoping and praying that I will have a day with pain that won't make me want to run naked in the streets pulling my hair from the roots.

You think going to work is depressing, I agree, but not having the choice is a depression I hope you and no one else ever experiences.

Best wishes in a good time after work that will overshadow the depression of having to go when you dread it.

I always stay up late on Sunday but that is because I revert to my natural internal clock on the weekends and stay up late Fri and Sat night. By the time Sunday comes around, I cant fall asleep early..

Strange but true: I once worked in a call centre where they had a really high rate of people going sick on a Monday. They decided to make Monday "casual dress" day; the sick rate halved overnight.
