I know it depends on the person for what they like, but I'd like to believe that there is at least a few groups in every genre that can translate over to others.

Sure, there are great bands like Relient K (check out Who I Am Hates Who I've Been), Mae, Thousand Foot Krutch, Switchfoot, Skillet and Chevelle (the Clincher) (those are just some of my personal favs) and many others that you can discover from the Tooth and Nail label or purevolume.com. Some oldies but goodies are Petra, Burlap to Cashemere, Jars of Clay and dc Talk

Currently I like Flyleaf and Underoath.

Steve Taylor is a Christian singer from the 80s/early 90s who did a lot of new-wavy alternapop stuff. He was very controversial in the 80s for using sarcasm and satire in his music and for a public beef with Jimmy Swaggart (before the prostitute incident of course). Many of his ideas and the issues he sings about are still relevent today.

DC Talk's album Jesus Freak is also very good. It was the best selling Christian label album of all time. I'm not sure if it still is. (P.O.D. and Evanescence don't count because they are on mainstream labels, not Christian ones.)

Vengeance Rising and Bride are also good.

True it does depend on your preferences, but I love Paul Wright & I'm not a christian music listener. He's totally awesome! he's like the Jack Johnson of Christian rock.

Barlowgirl rocks! and Castin Crowns (not as heavy) and Down Here from Canada (lead singer reminds me of a young (and alive) Freddy Mercury.)

it depends on what you like. a cool heavy/hair metal band called Stryper has some good songs. Vengeance Rising is a cool thrash band. Zao and No Innocent Victim are metalcore/hardcore. Unashamed is a punk band. if you like more pop rock and alternative and **** like that then i dont know.
