I just wait and do all my running at one time. so I dont waste alot of gas going out everyday to do one or 2 things. I cut out alot of un nessicarry driving. as my truck gets 22 MPG. so I have been feeling the pinch for a few years now. and its just getting worse.

Most of us don't have any choice. America, for the most part, has the worst public transportation of all the industrialized countries in the world. Many cities have very little, if any, reliable public transportation. If you live in Chicago or D.C. or New York, that's great. Many of us do not have that luxury. I drive a gas-responsible vehicle and don't drive when it isn't necessary. Other than this, there is not a lot I can do.

We don't have reliable public transportation in my town. It's not uncommon to see 2 busses on the same route behind the other because the first one is that far behind.
We are trading in my wife's car soon for a more fuel efficient model. It's extremely close to being Honda or Honda now.
