Jane Eyre.
Jane Eyre is essentially the classic book that all romance novels are patterned after, albeit without the written pornography that modern romance novels tend to be full of.

I could not more highly recommend Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". It is a book that I did not read until a few years ago, when I was but a little older that yourself, and one that I have read many times since.
Not only is it a classic, but contains more drama, romance, and also comedy than you could wish for in any book.
The 2005 film version (with Keira Knightley) is also very enjoyable.
Amazon.co.uk have used version starting from just 1p (UK) or 1 cent (US)!

Yes! PLEASE try Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens, or The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. They're both really good.
They might take a little perseverence to get through, but they're 100 times better than a trashy paper-back romance.
:-)

Definitely Twilight and New Moon(soon to be Esclispe too!) by Stephenie Meyer. They are perfect teen books. I loved them. I can't wait for the rest of the series.
Here is some info about Twilight - the first in the series -

Um, when I was 10 and 11 I read all of the James Bond books. Those are pretty good. But, you have to know French like I did. French is easy, don't worry. i learned it when I was 8. If your parents are strict, don't read them. They are raunchy

If you are interested in reading on your computer, I'd be happy to share a couple of mine. :)
They're also available through my publishers but I'd send them as an attachment to you to read.
I try to write teen books that read easily, keep your attention, and have a touch of romance too.
Just let me know. :)
