I would say no because I would never do it. My father did it once and it's a huge dilemma for me, because I should say he's a real man but then again, I don't think real men slap women. So no.

Real men, meaning men who go with your primitive instincts will slap women, it's just how their mind works.
Real men, being our status quo of today, may want to at times, but their mind will not let them, and they know their gonna get their a** whooped by their partner :)
Real men, being the 21st century, understanding probably doesn't exist will not.

No only cowards only hit women,i hate men who hit women my wife,suffered from very bad domestic abusive with her ex boyfriend,he was a complete a@shole he used her like a punch bag,he also tortured her mentally and made threats towards her friends and familly,but she is with me now we have been together 5 years and we have a 19 month old son whos great,,sorry to rabble on a bit but i just cannot stand men who hit women.or any kind of domestic abuse.

fairs fair. if the man is much stronger then defiantly not. women are silly, they rally for equal rights then pick and choose which suit them.
if i punched a guy in the face who was roughly the same build as me, i'd expect him to punch me back.
although the majority of men i've men i've met wouldn't due to 'how they've been brought up'
