He works really hard.
But then again, he drives his best players off the court either by his off-the-court actions (shaq, malone, etc), or by his on-the court selfishness (Caron Butler, soon-to-be Lamar Odom). He also anally rapes girls, cheats on his wife, disparages other players in the league (raja bell, ray allen, etc), and constantly argues with refs (always amongst the league leaders in technical fouls).
It's a close call, what do you think?

Anybody that likes Kobe Bryant needs to move out of their parents basement and get their GED. These idiots have been drinking his Kool-Aid for about 7 years now and he has driven a once proud laker franchise into the ground. Even Phil Jackson can't win with what kobe has done to the team.

Well 1st of all Caron Butler left because he was another player that played the same position as Lamar and Kobe, Infact Lamar would be more to blame than Kobe. Secondly, Shaq asked to leave, breaking up the team leading to Karl Malone leaving. And he didn't rape that female.
But, no I don't think he deserve the award. I think Lebron should have won it. Because he competes at such a high level. Keep his team mates in the game and respect everyone on the court win or lose.

He was supended two games for elbowing Mike Miller. Right there he should be disqualified from that award for this season. He was also suspended for one game because of something else.
