Need to find out what kind of driver I need?

I installed a new sound card but I dont have the Cd so Im gonna have to upload a driver. How do I find out what kind of sound card it is?

easy, start>control panel>system>hardware tab>device manager>sound,video and game controller> right click sound card.>properties>update driver. easiest way

Take the card out, read it carefully, normally the clues are there, ie. Make/model and some special version number, thats what you need to find out where to get drivers from ..
