I'm writing a research paper on what human rights are involved in academics and whar academic freedoms were violated by the Virginia Tech shooting.

The right to live. The right to free enterprise, the right to live out your lifestyle "all your debuacheries won't enough" the right to self expression "deceitful charlatans", the right to free competition "all your wine and cognate weren't enough" the right to free speech "you chose to spill my blood" I know it sounds weird... but you can probably modify what I wrote.

All the people who were killed lost their academic freedom to continue learning and/or teaching.
