he didn't deserve to die but, it was better off that way. the movie gave you a hit that he was going to die, when harry lost his memory he said "i would die for them", talking about peter and mj and in the end he did. i think harry was starting to look like a villain or at least a bad guy to some people and the only way to show that he was still good, forgave peter (for doing nothing), and that he didn't hate anymore, was for him to die cause than he looks like a hero and died a hero. and nothing was left for him, his father's business had fallen, he lost mj, his father was dead, he wasn't friends with peter (at first), he didn't feel loved, he was lonely and then peter screwed up his face which probably made him more depressed and i doubt that any girl would really want to be with him.
and i doubt that harry will be in the 4th one cause he's buried in the ground dead. they might have him in flashbacks or something similar to that, (like what they did with harry's father with the flashbacks and him talking to harry) and thats probably it.

I don't think he deserved to die. I don't think there was that much more they could do with his character.
I think he might even return, if there is a Spiderman 4. As readers of comics know, no one stays dead the world of Marvel, DC and the rest.

I don't think he deserved to die, but it was a better that he die doing a good thing instead of something evil.
Next time you might want to put a spoiler alert in your ?. Some ppl still haven't seen the movie.

Its a cleaner story line than if he had survived. The act of redemption finished his story arc. His character has no where left to go after that.
By the way, I 'll defend you on the "spoiler" complaint. Your queston clearly says "for those who have SEEN.." People who have seen are immune to spoilers.

um, he had to die.
That is how it goes down: as soon as the secondary evil guy understands why he shouldn't be going for revenge and helps the good guy win, he dies. It is called poetic justice.
so yes, he had to die.

no...it sucked. i was thinking that he would make it and then peter and harry would be back to the drama with MJ and which one she would choose, but i guess u can only take that so far. it sux that he died, but it fits...
