I think the nicest homes are in South Corona were they have built several new golf courses right off the 15 FW, South of the 91. Even if you are not into golfing, it is always nice to be near a golf course like Eagle Glen so you can eat at the club house and stuff. Even better if you can afford to get a home on the course, that way you don't need a gardener, but always have a beautiful backyard

If you can handle the traffic. We just sold a home in Corona, and it was absolutely beautiful. You definitely get more home for your money out there, however you give up some things like location. Where do you work? Where is your family? If you have to travel back and fourth to OC or San Diego for anything, you are going to have a lot of stressful driving ahead of you. However, if you work in Corona or close to it, then you can definitely find a great home there. As an investment situation, you have to look at the stats. Homes in the inland empire have gone up drastically in the last 4 years. In the last year the market has softened all over Southern California, so you are not taking any bigger of a risk then say buying is San Clemente. The market is a toss up right now. No one knows exactly what is going to happen. But keep this in mind, you are much better buying now and waiting it out then sitting and waiting for prices to go up again. If that happens then you will be buying at the high end of the market again. If you get in now, there's a good chance you will make some money in equity if the market rebounds and goes up like in years past. The real estate market nationally has never went down, so buying is always a great idea.

Corona offers much more home for your money than Orange County, that's for sure!

Corona has also seen very strong appreciation for the last few years, and its not expected to stop anytime soon.

The drive on the 91 (if you are commuting to work every day) isn't worth it, though...so make sure you are not only considering home values.

If you would like more information for exactly what's out there, feel free to schedule a no-obligation search on our website:

This will email you Corona properties (that match your specific criteria) on the day they come on the market!

Yes, it has a lot of newer homes while being cheaper than most areas. However, if you have to commute on the 91 to go to work, you might reconsider moving there.

If you want me to send you a sample of available homes in Corona to give you an idea about affordability, let me know.

Regards
