i'm assuming there hasn't been, but is it really that difficult to do? is it easier to fly a plane into the twin towers than to kill one man?

thanks for all your answers. i have to say, i'm amazed that i am getting flach just for asking an honest question. it says a lot about the US's alleged freedom of speech, and american's perception of how free they are to have an opinion. i haven't even stated my view on him. all i know is that many organizations and individuals aren't overly impressed with his policies. i made it clear that this question has nothing to do with my personal view of bush, and nor do i see any reason your answer should have anything to do with your own views on him.
if asking a question devoid of any opinion is "daft", then so be it.
if the CIA think that this is something worth investigating, i'd be so amused the trouble would be worth it.
i'd be interested to hear everyone's opinion of my question itself.

1) Most of the people who would want to do it, don't have the backbone or courage to face down their own mothers;
2) Anyone educated enough to really understand government understand the President's job well enough to know how unjust and insane such an act would be;
3) Those not educated enough wouldn't have the first idea of how to go about it;
4) The enemies in our country that try to undermine the President (any President) and our country are surrounded by real patriots, for or against President Bush's policies, who would turn them in in a second.
Thank God for our country and it's patriots.

For the same reason there haven't been any terrorist attacks on US soil since 9-11. The Secret Service does a good job of protecting him, just as he does a good job of protecting America. It's a no-brainer. Another reason is that he is not as hated as the democrats would like everyone to believe.

I wouldn't want Bush to be killed.
He should be impeached for his misleading the country and bringing the country to war.
Only the Congress could approve going to war and Bush by passed them.
But I understand your question.
The reason why Bush has not had any assassination attempts on his life is because Democrats do not shoot Presidents they do not like.
Only Neocons do that.

Wow, asking a question like this on the internet is the height of stupidity.
I would guess there would be many reasons.
Treason, murder, and the secret service would just be a few.
You my friend, are not very bright.

I don't want the man dead, I just want him out of office. He can spend his days happily clearing brush on his ranch where he can't hurt anyone else.
